Flowers to draw
Three tables, three colour inputs, one room, oil pastels and the loveliest evening light. It was wonderful to bring our floweral designs to this magical June evening hosted by Sister by Studio Ashby with an art class held by their Artist in Residence Katy Papineau.
For the occasion, we worked with our trusted growers to develop a palette of seasonal ingredients that would complement our leading colours and offer a variety shapes and lines to be fun to discover and draw. We created three 360 degrees ‘growing’ statement pieces, then expanded their reach by breaking down their elements in a series of bud vases dotted and clustered along the tables.
